Hope and joy filled the air in Ikirun, Osun State, as Onigege Ara International of Obagun held its 2025 annual convention themed “Total Victory in Patience.”
The week-long programme, which ran from October 19 to 25 at PJ Ladapo Memorial Baptist Church, Ikirun, was convened by Pastor Oyetunji Amos. Activities included worship sessions, prayers, and community outreach programmes aimed at supporting the needy.
In a special empowerment segment, widows and persons with special needs received cash gifts and other support to help rebuild their livelihoods.
Adding a royal touch to the convention, His Royal Majesty, Oba Joseph Moronfoye Okunlola Oni, JP, Onigbaye of Igbaye Land, awarded full scholarships to Adebayo Samsondeen and young Ayomide, covering their primary and secondary education. Oba Okunlola Oni also gave cash assistance to a physically challenged woman, underscoring his commitment to uplifting the less privileged.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to God, Pastor Oyetunji Amos, and the royal father, describing the support as divine interventions that renewed their faith in God and humanity.
