The delegation, led by Iran’s chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, left the venue after what the IRNA news agency described as prolonged discussions and consultations.
“The delegation left the building where the talks were held after about 18 hours of intensive talks and consultations,” IRNA reported, adding that the team was returning to Tehran.
The negotiations, held in Switzerland, involved representatives from Iran, the United States, Pakistan and Qatar as part of efforts to secure a broader agreement aimed at easing tensions and ending the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The talks came amid renewed regional tensions, including Iran’s announcement of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz following Israeli military operations in Lebanon.
