In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the 21-day orientation exercise will take place simultaneously across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the statement, registration of Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) will begin on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and end at midnight on Friday, April 24, 2026.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026, while the orientation course will officially end on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

NYSC advised all mobilised graduates to travel safely to their respective camps, reiterating its warning against night journeys.

“Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it’s 6:00 pm and pass the night at any available Corps Members’ Lodge, military formation, police station/outpost or palace of a traditional ruler, then continue the following morning,” the statement said.
