2027: ‘Those Meeting Opposition Candidates Will Fail Woefully’ — Sanni Adeleke Warns
…Urges Accord members to close ranks, rally behind party’s candidates
A chieftain of the Accord Party, Chief Mrs Yeyelua Sanni Adeleke, has issued a stern warning to party members allegedly holding meetings with opposition candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, declaring that such political manoeuvres would end in electoral defeat.
Sanni Adeleke gave the warning on Thursday, October 15, during the inauguration of the Asejere Campaign Council in Osogbo, Osun State, where she called for unity, loyalty and stronger commitment among party faithful.
She expressed concern over what she described as a lack of commitment among some members to the party’s electoral ambitions, particularly its candidates contesting seats in the National Assembly and the Osun State House of Assembly.
The Accord chieftain urged members to remain loyal to the party and avoid actions capable of undermining its chances in the forthcoming elections.
She stressed the need for party faithful to close ranks, mobilise support at the grassroots and work collectively towards securing victory for Accord candidates in 2027.
Her remarks come amid growing political alignments and manoeuvres ahead of the next general elections, with parties seeking to consolidate their support bases and strengthen their electoral prospects.
Sanni Adeleke maintained that unity, discipline and collective commitment would be critical to the party’s success at the polls.
