The member representing Ijesa North Federal Constituency of Osun State in the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, has felicitated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola, CON, on his 72nd birthday.

In a statement made available to Patriotic Insights News by his Senior Media Aide, Omolebi-Sunday Segun Tunde, Oke described Oyetola as a “leader of leaders” and a distinguished statesman whose years of public service have been defined by humility, integrity, discipline and commitment to the development of Nigeria.

Oke said Oyetola’s modest disposition had never diminished the impact of his leadership, noting that his accomplishments and delivery in public office continued to speak for him.

The lawmaker described the former Osun State governor as an uncommon blend of intellectual depth, administrative discipline and humility, adding that these qualities had distinguished his career in both state and national service.

He also commended Oyetola for his contributions to Nigeria’s maritime and blue economy sector, particularly amid ongoing efforts by the Federal Government to diversify the economy, attract investment and strengthen infrastructure in the maritime industry.

“ I celebrate my leader, the leader of leaders, Alhaji Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola, CON, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday. Your life remains a testament to purposeful leadership, integrity, humility and dedicated public service,” Oke said.

He added: “You are a quiet personality whose delivery consistently outpaces your physical appearance. Your leadership does not seek attention; rather, your character, accomplishments and commitment to service speak for you.”

Oke expressed gratitude to God for the life of Oyetola and his contributions to humanity, praying for continued divine protection, good health and greater accomplishments.

“Ajinde ara a tunbo ma je fun yin, Sir,” he said, while praying that Allah would continue to preserve Oyetola and his family and grant him wisdom, peace and fulfilment in the years ahead.

The lawmaker further expressed his pride in being associated with Oyetola’s leadership, describing the minister’s continued service to humanity and the nation as worthy of commendation.

He congratulated Oyetola on attaining the age of 72 and wished him many more years of purposeful service and lasting impact.
