DJ Chicken praises Seyi Tinubu after release from prison

Popular Nigerian content creator Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, has praised Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, following his release from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.

The entertainer regained his freedom on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, after spending nearly two weeks in custody.

In a video posted on social media, DJ Chicken expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government, President Bola Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu, describing his release as a blessing.

He also shared a photo of Seyi Tinubu on his Instagram Story with the caption “Hmm ddddy” and changed his Instagram display picture to Seyi’s photograph.

DJ Chicken was arraigned on a three-count charge bordering on alleged violations of the Cybercrimes Act, breach of peace and making alleged threats against Seyi Tinubu.

The charges followed a viral video in which he allegedly made comments about the 2027 presidential election and was accused of threatening the President’s son.

He later apologised, saying the remarks were intended as a joke to attract attention and boost his social media presence. Despite the apology, he was arrested and prosecuted before regaining his freedom.
