To mark the occasion, the comedian shared comic photos on his social media page alongside a heartfelt message reflecting on his personal and professional journey.
Basketmouth described his journey as interesting and sometimes confusing, noting that he had experienced both great and challenging moments.
He said God had remained faithful and merciful throughout the journey, adding that he was grateful for the lessons, growth and experiences, including those he was yet to fully understand.
The comedian also expressed appreciation for the people in his life, the love he has found and the peace he has always longed for.
“The journey has been interesting, sometimes confusing. I’ve experienced great times and some interesting times. But through it all, God has remained faithful and merciful.
“I’m grateful for the lessons, the growth, the moments I understand, and even the ones I still don’t.
“I honestly wouldn’t change the journey, because somehow, it brought me exactly where I am today. To the people I’m with, the love I’ve found, and the peace I’ve always longed for. Thank you, Yahweh! Thank you for the man I’ve become and the man I’m still becoming,” he wrote.
