Nigeria Will Be Peaceful, No More Deaths — Remi Tinubu

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has declared that Nigeria will become a peaceful, blessed and fruitful nation, with an end to deaths and suffering.

Mrs Tinubu made the declaration on Tuesday during the commissioning of a water supply network project in Bwari Satellite Town, Abuja.

Representing President Bola Tinubu at the event, the First Lady used the occasion to offer prayers for the country, quoting from the Bible passage, 2 Kings 2:21.

She said, “I use this water project as a point of contact to say a prayer for our nation and specifically verse 21: ‘Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barren land. Her nation shall be peaceful, blessed, and fruitful in Jesus name.’”

The water project was among initiatives earmarked to commemorate President Tinubu’s third year in office.

Mrs Tinubu prayed for the continued progress of the Federal Capital Territory and Nigeria, adding, “God bless the Federal Capital Territory and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
