Netanyahu Warns Iran Of ‘Decisive Blow’ If Israel Is Attacked
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iran that Israel would respond with a “powerful” strike if Tehran launches any fresh attack against the country.
Netanyahu issued the warning on Tuesday during a conference, according to a video released by his office.
“I will say it to the leaders of Iran: Do not count on things remaining quiet if you attack us,” he said.
The Israeli leader added that his government would no longer tolerate attacks without a strong response.
“The days are over when someone strikes us and we don’t hit back with a decisive blow,” Netanyahu stated.
The warning comes amid heightened tensions between Israel and Iran, with both countries previously exchanging threats and military actions.
