The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced the immediate disengagement of Online Integrated Solutions (OIS Services) as the operator of Nigeria’s Visa Application and Submission Centres in the United States.

In a public notice, the service directed prospective travellers and Nigerians residing in the United States who require Nigerian visas to submit their applications directly to the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, D.C., or the Nigerian Consulates in New York and Atlanta until further notice.

The Consulate General of Nigeria in New York also confirmed the development, stating that OIS Services has ceased collecting and submitting visa applications on behalf of the consulate.

OIS Services previously handled visa application processing, biometric capture and document submission for Nigerian missions in several U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles and New Jersey. However, the Nigeria Immigration Service has not disclosed the reason for terminating the arrangement.
