United States President Donald Trump has claimed that United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer will resign from office, although no official announcement has been made by the British leader.

In a post on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, Trump wrote:

“Keir Starmer will resign as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He failed badly on two very important subjects – IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY (OPEN NORTH SEA OIL!). I wish him well!”

As of the time of filing this report, Starmer has not announced his resignation, and the UK government has not issued any statement confirming Trump’s claim.

The post comes amid reports of political pressure on Starmer from within his Labour Party, but there has been no official confirmation that he plans to step down.

Trump did not provide any evidence to support his assertion.
