Kwara ADC Declares Readiness for 2027 Elections
The Kwara State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it is fully prepared for the 2027 general elections, insisting that no form of intimidation or legal challenge will stop the party from participating in the polls.
The declaration was made in a statement issued after the party’s State Executive Committee meeting in Ilorin.
State Chairman Babatunde Muhammed expressed confidence in the party’s chances, saying the ADC remains focused on winning the 2027 elections.
He also welcomed the Court of Appeal’s decision to stay the execution of the Federal High Court judgment that ordered the deregistration of the ADC and four other political parties, describing the ruling as a boost for democracy.
The party urged its members to remain united and intensify grassroots mobilisation across the state ahead of the elections.
It also reaffirmed its commitment to issue-based politics, credible elections and providing alternative leadership if given the mandate in 2027.
