Haaland’s father, agent deny Real Madrid agreement reports

Erling Haaland’s father, Alfie Haaland, and his agent, Rafaela Pimenta, have dismissed reports linking the Manchester City striker with a pre-agreement to join Real Madrid.

The clarification comes after claims emerged in the Spanish media suggesting that Enrique Riquelme, a candidate in the Real Madrid presidential race, had secured an agreement with the Norway international contingent on winning the election.

The speculation quickly gained traction, prompting a joint response from Haaland’s camp.

“All very entertaining but not true. We wish all the best for both candidates in the Real Madrid election,” the statement from Alfie Haaland and Pimenta said.

Haaland, 24, signed a long-term contract extension with Manchester City in January 2025, which ties him to the Premier League champions until June 2034, effectively putting an end to short-term transfer speculation.
