In a statement issued on Friday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the Board advised candidates to check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
JAMB noted that candidates can only view their results at this stage, as printing options are not yet available.
The Board also issued a strong warning against result manipulation, stressing that altering official messages to fabricate scores is a criminal offence.
“Candidates are strongly cautioned against manipulating the SMS received from the official platform… Such actions constitute a serious criminal offence,” the statement said.
It disclosed that enforcement actions are already underway, with two candidates and one parent currently in custody over alleged result falsification using AI and other electronic means.
JAMB assured that the examination process is ongoing, adding that more results will be released in batches as they are processed.
