A former Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano State, Saidu Bello Said, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will lose the 2027 general elections early on election day.

Speaking in an interview with journalists, Said said growing public dissatisfaction with governance would shape voter decisions, insisting that Nigerians were increasingly aware of the country’s challenges.

“Nigerians will never vote for Tinubu in the coming election. They are tired. Democracy is not being respected,” he said.

He further made a bold projection of an early outcome, stating, “Tinubu will lose the election before 10:00 am.” He also added that support for the President, particularly in the North, would carry consequences, saying, “Whoever votes for Tinubu… will be found at the bottom of hell.”

On developments within the ADC, Said noted that the party was undergoing internal restructuring in Kano following recent political realignments, including the reported defection of former NNPP leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

“The party will get its house in order before 2027,” he said.

He also criticised current economic policies, particularly fuel price increases, questioning the rationale behind the adjustments despite global oil price movements.

“For example, fuel price has increased when there’s no reason for that. Nigeria’s budget was pegged at $70, but with the recent war, it has increased. What is being done for Nigerians?” he queried.

Said urged Nigerians to use the 2027 elections as an opportunity to demand change, calling on citizens to “see 2027 as a time to save themselves from the clutches of APC.”
