ICPC to arraign El-Rufai at Federal High Court Kaduna
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) says former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, will be arraigned before the Federal High Court of Nigeria in Kaduna on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Commission’s Head of Media and Public Communications, John Okor Odey, on Monday.
According to the statement, El-Rufai will be arraigned alongside Joel Adoga in a case marked FHC/KD/73/2026, bordering on alleged conversion and possession of public property, as well as money laundering.
The ICPC also revealed that a separate case has been filed against El-Rufai and Amadu Sule at the Kaduna State High Court.
Charges in the second case include alleged abuse of office, fraud, intent to commit fraud, and conferring undue advantage.
Both cases were instituted on March 18, 2026, and the Commission confirmed that the former governor has been duly served.
The ICPC added that the date for arraignment at the State High Court will be communicated in due course, reiterating its commitment to due process and the rule of law.
