Lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi Steps Aside from Law Firm Ahead of 2027 Reps Bid

Abuja-based legal practitioner, Pelumi Olajengbesi, has stepped aside from his law firm, Law Corridor, as he prepares to pursue his political ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Olajengbesi had earlier declared his intention to contest for the Obokun–Oriade Federal Constituency seat in Osun State.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the partners and management of Law Corridor confirmed that the decision was taken in light of Olajengbesi’s growing political engagements and his aspiration for public office.
The firm explained that the move aligns with its internal governance policy, which mandates strict political neutrality in its operations.
Deputy Managing Partner of the firm, Dr. Ganiyu Ajibola Bello, stated that the step was necessary to uphold the firm’s professional standards.
“This decision is in line with the Articles of Governance of Law Corridor, which uphold the firm’s long-standing policy of political neutrality,” Bello said.
Olajengbesi’s decision to step aside is seen as part of preparations to focus fully on his political ambition ahead of the 2027 polls.
