The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its scheduled meetings of the National Caucus, Board of Trustees (BoT), and National Executive Committee (NEC) amid ongoing efforts to resolve internal disputes within the party.

The decision was announced in a public notice dated March 11, 2026, issued at the party’s national secretariat.

The statement was released by the National Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Acting National Chairman, Taofeek Arapaja.

According to the notice, the meetings, which were earlier scheduled to hold this week, have been postponed indefinitely to allow ongoing reconciliation processes to continue.

The party said the decision followed the position of the Board of Trustees and was taken in “utmost good faith” in line with a court-advised reconciliation process aimed at resolving the party’s internal crisis.

“In furtherance of the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, in pursuit of reconciliation within the party, we announce the postponement of the meetings of the National Caucus, Board of Trustees, and National Executive Committee earlier scheduled for this week until further notice,” the statement said.

The PDP also apologised for any inconvenience the postponement may cause to party members and stakeholders.
