President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the renewal of tenure for three Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service, granting them a second and final four-year term, effective April 27, 2026.
The decision, made in line with the Public Service Rule (PSR) 020909, applies to officials who have satisfactorily completed their initial four-year term.
The officials are:
Ms. Kachallom Shangti Daju, Permanent Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare;
Mrs. Beatrice Jedy-Agba, Solicitor-General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Justice;
Dr. Mary Ada Ogbe, Permanent Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Regional Development.
In a statement, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the officials and encouraged them to use their renewed mandate to demonstrate greater dedication and excellence in public service. She urged them to leverage their experience to strengthen service delivery and enhance national development.
The announcement was issued on March 6, 2026, by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Press and Public Relations in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
