2027 elections another chance to make right choices — Accord tells Nigerians

The Accord Party has said the 2027 general elections will provide Nigerians with another opportunity to choose credible leaders capable of putting the country on the path of progress.

The party made the remark in a statement while informing its members about an upgraded link for its ongoing electronic membership registration and revalidation exercise.

In the statement signed by its National Chairman, Barr. Maxwell Mgbudem, the party urged Nigerians to unite in building a stronger and more prosperous nation.

“The upcoming elections provide another opportunity for people to come together and collaborate in creating a strong, healthy, forward-looking, successful, and fair democratic nation,” the statement said.

“It’s time to build a better and more prosperous Nigeria that future generations can take pride in.”

The party also advised members who had already completed the electronic registration and revalidation process not to repeat the exercise.

According to the statement, the clarification became necessary following an update to the link used for the nationwide membership e-registration platform.

“Members who joined through the old platform can remain without signing up again, provided they supply their correct National Identification Number (NIN),” the party said.

It added that the data of existing members would be migrated to the new platform.

The party also directed ward, local government and zonal leaders to mobilise members and ensure wider participation in the registration exercise across the country and among Nigerians in the diaspora.

Accord further stated that it remains a viable platform for Nigerians seeking to contest various positions in the 2027 general elections.
