Lagos APC Sets Standard in Party Organization, Urges Opposition to Learn Discipline
Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed its position as a benchmark of party organization and democratic discipline in Nigeria.
In a statement, the party’s spokesman, Seye Oladejo, highlighted the success of the recent electronic membership registration and congresses across the state, describing them as “a demonstration that structure, innovation, and order are not slogans—they are our culture.”
Oladejo noted: “While others trade in confusion and press statements, we build systems. While others quarrel over factions, we strengthen institutions. While others manufacture propaganda, we consolidate progress.”
He added that congresses held across wards and local governments were “peaceful, transparent, and fully compliant with constitutional guidelines,” stressing that participation was massive, and the outcomes reflected a united and forward-looking party.
“The quality of elected members into the State Executive speaks volumes,” Oladejo said. “The new leadership embodies a strategic blend of experience and youth, continuity and renewal, and deliberate gender balancing—a team built to sustain and accelerate progress.”
He further urged opposition parties to learn from APC’s model, stating: “Politics is not noise-making, social media agitation, or perpetual internal crisis. It is structure, coordination, and leadership.”
The Lagos APC insists that its disciplined approach positions the party to tackle upcoming political challenges, while providing a clear contrast to opposition disarray.
