Aiyedatiwa Reshuffles Ondo Civil Service, Appoints 32 Permanent Secretaries

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of 32 new permanent secretaries into the state civil service, in a move seen as part of efforts to strengthen efficiency and service delivery in the state bureaucracy.
The announcement was made on Monday in Akure by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries include Mrs Tayo Ogundare, Mrs Morayo Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Mrs Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile, Stephen Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, Mrs Oluwakemi Akinyemi, Bamidele Daisi, among others. Other notable appointees are Dr Peter Akingbade, Ayodeji Ogudare, Adeduro Akinbola, Ibidapo Ojo, Olusegun Orisabinone, Surv. Idowu Owolabi, Adeoye O. Atibioke, Mrs Toyin Awotoye, and Ayodeji Ayeku.
In addition, Governor Aiyedatiwa confirmed two key statutory appointments: Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General and Dr Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, pending clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
Adeniyan stated that the appointments are effective from February 1, 2026, while the swearing-in ceremony will be scheduled at a later date.
“These appointments form part of the ongoing efforts of the Governor to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency and service delivery,” Adeniyan said.
