Yilwatda Hails Tinubu as Mentor, Pledges to Emulate His Political Success

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has described President Bola Tinubu as his political mentor, saying he is learning the intricacies of governance and leadership from the President.
Yilwatda made the remarks on Saturday after receiving the traditional title of Kaeh-rit, which translates as “the good seed of Ampang East,” in Plateau State.
According to him, Tinubu’s political acumen and leadership qualities make him an ideal role model.
“I am learning from the best leader, Asiwaju Tinubu. Since adopting me as his son, I have learned so much from him. If you see me succeeding, it is because I am guided by one of the finest politicians Nigeria has produced,” Yilwatda said.
The APC chairman also expressed optimism over the recent defection of Governor Caleb Mutfwang to the APC, noting that it would benefit Plateau State. He further reiterated the party’s commitment to inclusivity, affirming that all members enjoy equal rights within the party.
This marks the second traditional title conferred on Yilwatda within two weeks. The Tiv Nation in Benue State recently honoured him for his humanitarian contributions.
