Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has called on Nigerians to renew their hope and uphold the core values of Christmas, even as the nation grapples with economic and social challenges.

In a Christmas message released by Ahmad Sajoh, head of Fayemi’s media office, the former minister extended warm greetings to Nigerians celebrating the festive season and preparing for the New Year.

Fayemi said Christmas symbolizes hope, love, peace, and sacrifice, and urged citizens to reflect on these values in rebuilding the social fabric of the nation.

“We may be in a difficult season, but we are not a hopeless people,” Fayemi said. “As we transition into the New Year, let us carry with us a spirit of determination. I am confident that with collective effort and the enduring grace of God, Nigeria will emerge stronger and more prosperous.”

He also encouraged citizens to celebrate the festivities responsibly, keeping in mind the economic realities and the need to extend support to the less privileged.
