The Super Eagles have stepped up preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with the arrival of 21 players at their training base in Cairo, Egypt.
Midfielders Wilfred Ndidi and Raphael Onyedika, defenders Bruno Onyemaechi, and forwards Akor Adams and Cyriel Dessers were the latest to join the camp at the Renaissance Hotel. The new arrivals featured in the team’s first training session held on Monday night at the Cairo International Stadium.
Team officials confirmed that seven more players are expected to report to camp in the coming days as preparations gather momentum.
Nigeria will test their readiness with a friendly against hosts Egypt, the Pharaohs, on Tuesday.
