Hon. Oluwole Oke, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and lawmaker representing Obokun/Oríade Federal Constituency, has congratulated Prof. Isaac Adewole and Chief Femi Fani-Kayode on their nomination and appointment as Ambassadors.
In a statement issued on Friday, Oke described the duo—who hail from Osun East Senatorial District—as distinguished personalities whose track records of service and national contributions make their appointments well-deserved.
He noted that Prof. Adewole, a former Minister of Health, and Chief Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, possess the experience and diplomatic exposure required to project Nigeria’s interests on the global stage.
Oke expressed confidence that their new roles would further strengthen the country’s foreign relations, adding that Osun East Senatorial District takes pride in their emergence for such high national assignment.
The lawmaker assured the new appointees of his full support as they prepare to take on their ambassadorial duties, urging them to continue their tradition of exemplary service to the nation.
