Omidiran’s FCC Confirmation Excites Oke

Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has hailed the Senate’s confirmation of Hon. Ayo Omidiran as Chairperson of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), describing the development as “a well-earned national recognition.”
Oke, who represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, said Omidiran’s elevation comes as no surprise to those familiar with her “unimpeachable integrity, administrative depth and long-standing commitment to fairness in governance.”
He noted that the former lawmaker’s legislative and public service experience places her in a strategic position to reposition the Commission and reinforce equity and national cohesion in line with its mandate.
According to him, Omidiran’s confirmation is “a proud moment for Osun State and a refreshing signal for Nigerians who desire transparency in public institutions.”
Oke prayed for God’s guidance for the new FCC chair and wished her success in the assignment ahead.
