Tinubu’s Projects Transforming Southern Kaduna — Speaker Abbas

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has commended President Bola Tinubu for what he described as an unprecedented commitment to the development and security of Southern Kaduna.

Abbas made the remarks at a rally held in Kafanchan to receive Senator Sunday Marshall Katung and Hon. Daniel Amos, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Speaker said the region has begun to witness tangible transformation under the current administration, citing several key projects initiated by President Tinubu.

According to him, “President Tinubu has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the growth and inclusion of Southern Kaduna. The establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia is a bold step that represents hope for the youth. It will soon open its doors to students who will shape the future through innovation and learning.”

He also highlighted the creation of the Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan as a clear expression of the government’s dedication to healthcare delivery. “This centre will bring quality healthcare closer to the people and reduce the need for long-distance travel in search of medical attention,” he said.

Abbas further pointed to the establishment of the Military Command Centre in Samaru Kataf as a major stride toward restoring peace and stability in the region. “This initiative underlines the administration’s resolve to secure lives, protect communities, and foster lasting confidence among the people,” he stated.

The Speaker lauded Governor Uba Sani for complementing the Federal Government’s efforts through inclusive governance and people-oriented programmes.

“With the synergy between President Tinubu, the National Assembly, and the Kaduna State Government, Southern Kaduna is now taking its rightful place in Nigeria’s development journey,” he said.

He assured the people that the administration’s commitment to education, healthcare, infrastructure, and job creation would continue to drive progress in the area.

“Under President Tinubu’s leadership, we will not stop until every child goes to school, every hospital is functional, and every farmer enjoys fair reward for labour. Southern Kaduna will rise again,” Abbas declared.
