The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday announced the defection of Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The disclosure was made by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, during the party’s 14th National Caucus meeting held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
Yilwatda, who is also from Plateau State, said the governor’s defection has handed the ruling party control of all states in the North-Central geopolitical zone.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended the meeting, alongside governors who recently dumped the PDP for the APC.
The caucus meeting was still ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
