Adeleke Showers Praises on Remi Tinubu at 65
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has joined family, friends and associates in celebrating the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 65th birthday.
In a goodwill message yesterday, Adeleke described the First Lady as “an Amazon whose life embodies grace, conviction and a passion for uplifting others.”
The Governor praised Senator Tinubu’s record of public service, recalling her three terms in the Senate where she championed democratic principles and advanced the cause of women and youth.
Spokesperson to the Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, who signed the congratulatory statement, quoted Adeleke as saying: “Senator Tinubu is a unique blessing to us. I enjoyed the grace of her kindness during my time in the Senate, where she shared her experience, offered guidance and provided the needed support that made my journey eventful.”
Adeleke lauded the First Lady’s commitment to nation-building, stressing that she has consistently used her voice to push for opportunities for women while investing in youth development and social advancement.
He added: “I honour her life of service and contributions, and more importantly, praise her for sharing in the burden of serving Nigerians with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
The Governor prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the celebrant, asking for many more rewarding years in good health and sound mind.
“Senator Oluremi Tinubu is shaping not just lives for the better, but also building a pathway for a prosperous future,” the statement further quoted him as saying.
