Bwala Blasts Atiku: Hunger Talk is Cheap, Tinubu’s Progress Speaks Loud
Presidential aide Daniel Bwala yesterday took a swipe at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over his claim that hunger in the country could trigger a revolution.
Bwala, who is Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, described Atiku’s remarks as “cheap blackmail” and accused him of deliberately closing his eyes to the gains of the Tinubu administration.
Appearing on TVC’s Abuja Brief, Bwala said:
“Atiku’s problem is simple: he is blind to progress and deaf to facts. He keeps chanting hunger and revolution, but he refuses to acknowledge the tangible strides President Tinubu has made.”
He listed improvements in foreign reserves, net exports and economic stabilisation measures, stressing that the opposition leader only thrives on spreading fear and misinformation.
“Atiku says Nigerians are suffering. Is he blind, or does he not hear of the reforms that are already changing lives? He won’t talk about how hospitals across the country now have facilities for caesarean sections. He won’t talk about the fundamentals we have set in place to secure the economy. Why? Because it does not fit his tired narrative,” Bwala said.
He accused the former vice president of playing politics with national stability.
“Talk is cheap. Atiku has no facts, only propaganda. He lost at the polls, and now he wants to mislead Nigerians with doom stories. Nigerians see through his antics. President Tinubu is building a stronger nation, and no amount of noise can drown that reality,” Bwala declared.
