Justice D.E. Osiagor of the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division, adjourned the matter after counsel to the plaintiffs, Monday Mawah, sought to join the party’s nominee, Funsho Dorothy, as a defendant and amend the pending suit.
Counsel to the NDC, D.D. Duru, opposed the application.
The court subsequently fixed Wednesday, September 16, to determine whether Dorothy should be joined in the case.
The development comes amid an ongoing dispute over the NDC’s candidates for the 2027 elections.
