Aneke gave the commendation on Thursday at the second edition of the Renewed Hope Initiative presentation of financial support to widows of fallen heroes at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The event, organised by the Office of the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, under the RHI Social Investment Programme, was aimed at supporting families of personnel who died in service to the nation.
The Nigerian Air Force disclosed this in a statement shared on its official social media page on Thursday.
Aneke said continued assistance to the families of fallen heroes reflected the nation’s appreciation of their sacrifices and demonstrated the government’s commitment to their welfare.
The Chief of the Air Staff joined senior military and security officials at the event, which focused on providing financial assistance to widows of personnel who paid the ultimate price in service to Nigeria.
