Videos circulating on social media showed residents singing and dancing as they welcomed the victims back to the community.
The development followed a viral video in which Igboho addressed community representatives and traditional rulers, condemning the spate of kidnappings and killings in the area.
He alleged that some members of the Fulani community were responsible for the abductions and referenced the kidnapping of the family, including claims that a person who delivered ransom was killed.
Igboho demanded the immediate release of all abducted victims, giving suspected perpetrators a two-hour ultimatum while warning that he would take further action if they failed to comply.
He said he had exercised restraint out of respect for appeals from traditional rulers but insisted that the incidents must not recur.
Following the expiration of the ultimatum, the abducted family was reportedly released, although the circumstances surrounding their freedom had not been officially confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
Authorities have yet to issue a statement on the incident.
