APC Leaders Rally Behind Wole Oke for Obokun/Oriade Reps Seat Ahead of 2027

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State have unanimously endorsed Hon. Oluwole Oke as the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives election in 2027.

The adoption, according to party stakeholders, followed wide consultations among leaders and members of the party across the constituency, with a view to presenting a united front ahead of the poll.

Reacting to the development, Hon. Wole Oke expressed appreciation to the APC leaders for what he described as their commitment to party unity, discipline and collective progress.

He said the consensus arrangement reflected the maturity and strength of the party in the constituency, noting that the decision would further consolidate APC’s chances in the 2027 general election.

Oke also commended other aspirants who stepped down in support of the consensus arrangement, describing their actions as patriotic and selfless.

The lawmaker specifically appreciated Prince Abiodun Aribisala, Alhaji Ahmed Alubankudi, Engr. Agoro, Prof. Akinmoladun and Engr. Femi Akosile for prioritising the interest of the party and the constituency above personal ambition.

According to him, their support and loyalty to the vision of the party would strengthen unity within the APC and inspire members to work together for victory.

He assured party members and constituents of his commitment to effective representation and the delivery of meaningful development projects across Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency.

Party supporters at the meeting reportedly described the consensus adoption as a major step towards fostering harmony and stability within the APC structure in the area ahead of the 2027 elections.

“Iṣẹ ti ya,” supporters chanted at the close of the gathering, signalling renewed confidence in the party’s direction and leadership in the constituency.
