Bala was earlier quoted in a viral report as saying, “I regret my role in the ADC crises. I did not know it would reach this level. My life is in danger.”
However, in a statement issued on Sunday, the former Gombe governorship candidate dismissed the claims as false and misleading.
He described the report as “malicious” and aimed at damaging his integrity, insisting that he neither granted any interview nor authorised anyone to speak on his behalf.
“I have not instructed anyone, including the individual mentioned in the publication, to make statements on my behalf. Such claims should be disregarded,” Bala said.
He maintained that his actions in the party were in line with due process, particularly following the resignation of former National Chairman, Ralph Nwosu, on July 2, 2025.
Bala also rejected suggestions that he had expressed regret or sought to distance himself from the ongoing leadership dispute, describing such claims as entirely untrue.
