A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has expressed confidence that the party’s governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, will faithfully implement all campaign promises if elected.
Oyintiloye made the assertion on Thursday during a visit to the palace of the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Awogboro, where he reiterated the APC’s commitment to credible leadership and delivery of democratic dividends.
He said the party had consistently demonstrated seriousness in governance and would continue on that path if given another opportunity at the polls.
“While I appreciate the opportunity given to me to represent the good people of Obokun, I must state emphatically that Oyebamiji will fulfil all his campaign promises,” he said.
The former lawmaker appealed to residents of the state to throw their weight behind the APC candidate in the forthcoming governorship election, stressing that such support would accelerate development and improve government responsiveness to local needs.
Oyintiloye also listed some of his achievements during his time in office, including the refurbishment of a police armoured personnel carrier, reconstruction of the Ibokun roundabout, renovation of the traditional palace, rehabilitation of market stalls, and provision of boreholes and transformers.
He further noted that his empowerment programmes cut across job facilitation as well as support for farmers and traders in the constituency.
