In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Air Force said the shortlisted candidates are to participate in the Selection Board Interview for the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
The list of successful candidates has been published on the official recruitment portal, with the interview scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, from April 27 to June 13, 2026.
“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the Zonal General Aptitude Test… are invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women into BMTC 46/2025,” the statement read.
NAF directed candidates to report strictly according to their assigned batch schedules as indicated on the portal, warning that failure to comply would result in disqualification.
“All shortlisted candidates are required to report strictly in accordance with their assigned batch schedule… Candidates who fail to report on their designated dates will forfeit the opportunity,” it stated.
The Air Force also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free, cautioning applicants against making payments at any stage.
“The entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, and candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment,” Ejodame added.
The development follows the aptitude test conducted in December 2025 across 15 centres nationwide, which attracted over 20,000 applicants.
NAF said the recruitment process is guided by merit, fairness, and transparency, stressing that selecting qualified personnel remains critical to its operational effectiveness.
