The engagement, which brought together 22 ward councillors, council bosses, party stakeholders, and grassroots mobilisers, focused on strengthening party unity, deepening coordination, and reinforcing structures at the grassroots level.
Addressing participants, Oke emphasised the need for cohesion and unwavering commitment among party members, noting that electoral victory is largely dependent on the strength and unity of the party’s base.
“Victory is best secured when the base is solid and the structure is united,” he said, while commending the councillors and local government leaders for their loyalty and consistency.
He further urged them to intensify mobilisation efforts across all wards to ensure maximum support for the party in the forthcoming poll.
In his remarks, Ogungbangbe assured attendees of the campaign committee’s readiness to address their concerns, stressing the importance of inclusive engagement and effective coordination across all levels of the party structure.
The meeting also had in attendance key party figures, including Hon. Bunmi Obeisun, Hon. Owoeye Samuel Abiodun, Hon. Iyanda Babatunji, Hon. Omolebi-Sunday Segun Tunde, Hon. Mercy Ayodele, and Hon. Kunle Bolarinde, among others.
Participants at the meeting expressed confidence in the strength of the party’s structure and reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively to secure victory for the APC in the August gubernatorial election.
The meeting ended on an optimistic note, with stakeholders pledging renewed efforts toward grassroots mobilisation and party unity.
