Oluwole Oke Takes Helm of Osun APC Campaign, Vows Total Victory Ahead of August Polls

In a bold statement of resolve, Hon. Oluwole Oke has formally accepted the role of Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Osun State Campaign Committee, promising an unwavering commitment to securing victory in the August 15 governorship election.

Speaking Wednesday, Oke expressed deep gratitude to Almighty God and the leadership of the APC in Osun State for placing their confidence in him. “Trust is earned, but responsibility is bestowed,” he declared, describing the appointment as both an honor and a solemn call to higher service.

Oke paid glowing tribute to party stalwarts, including Agba Osun, Baba Bisi Akande, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, and State Chairman Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal Sooko, praising their “steadfastness, wisdom, and deep commitment to unity” as guiding forces for the party.

He also lauded the party’s governorship candidate, Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, for his inclusive leadership style, describing him as “a true leader who builds bridges, not walls,” and emphasizing that “in unity lies our greatest strength.”

Urging party members to remain focused and disciplined, Oke warned against division, saying, “Victory is never accidental; it is the product of discipline, unity, and sustained effort. If we stand together, victory is not just possible; it is inevitable!”

The new campaign DG congratulated the Directors-General across the state’s senatorial districts—Prince Adeleke Banik (Osun Central), Prince Dotun Babayemi (Osun West), and Prince Thomas Ogungbamigbe (Osun East)—as well as leaders across federal constituencies and the State Campaign Committee. He emphasized that coordinated efforts and strategic planning were crucial for success.

Oke highlighted that his mandate goes beyond the 2026 election, noting its strategic significance for strengthening the APC ahead of the 2027 re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. “Today’s effort is tomorrow’s victory secured,” he asserted.

He concluded by calling on all party faithful to “close ranks, align our strengths, and move forward with one voice and one purpose,” affirming that through unity, discipline, and determination, the APC would emerge triumphant.
