The threat was issued in a statement circulated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps through an affiliated media platform, which accused American ICT and artificial intelligence firms of playing critical roles in intelligence gathering and operational coordination.
According to the statement, about 20 U.S.-linked companies were listed as what Iran described as “legitimate military targets,” warning workers and residents around their facilities to leave immediately.
Iran said any further assassination of its senior officials could trigger attacks beginning from 8 p.m. local time on Wednesday.
The warning comes amid rising hostilities after Israel reportedly carried out more than 230 strikes across Iranian territory within 24 hours, targeting military installations and strategic assets.
Iranian authorities have repeatedly accused both United States and Israel of backing attacks on civilian and strategic infrastructure.
The latest threat also follows previous Iranian warnings directed at U.S. and Israeli-linked academic institutions after strikes reportedly affected research centres in Isfahan and Tehran.
The development adds to growing fears of wider regional confrontation, especially after recent Iranian attacks on American military bases across the Middle East.
