National Convention: Wike Hosts Rivers APC Delegates in Abuja

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday hosted delegates of the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his residence in Abuja.

Those in attendance included the newly returned APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), Victor Giadom, alongside senators, members of the House of Representatives, and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly. Other state party leaders were also present.

The meeting comes days after the APC South-South Zonal Congress, held on Wednesday in Asaba, Delta State. At the congress, Giadom was reelected as National Vice Chairman (South-South), while Samuel Nwanosike was elected South-South Zonal Publicity Secretary.

The gathering underscores ongoing consultations and alignment ahead of the APC National Convention, as party leaders and delegates prepare for the upcoming internal elections and organizational activities.
