The Nigerian gospel music community has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular gospel artiste, Taiwo Adegbodu, one half of the renowned Adegbodu Twins.
The sad news was announced on Sunday by his twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, through a post shared on social media.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss, Kehinde lamented the sudden passing of his brother and ministry partner, describing the development as heartbreaking.
“TAIWO, why will you leave me and your kids without notification? My heart is bleeding. Lord, how do you want me to cope without him? God why? This is too much for me to bear,” he wrote.
Taiwo and Kehinde Adegbodu were widely known in gospel music circles for their energetic worship ministrations, unique twin-stage performances, and impactful appearances at churches and Christian gatherings across Nigeria, particularly in the South-West.
Their music ministry earned them a strong following among gospel music lovers and worshippers nationwide.
