The All Progressives Congress, APC, has restructured the leadership of its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, appointing former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, as chairman.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who was earlier announced as head of the committee, has been redesignated as treasurer in the new arrangement.
The party also approved an expansion of the committee’s membership, increasing the number from 73 to 90, as part of efforts to accommodate broader stakeholder representation within its ranks.
Among the newly inducted members is Senator Barry Mpigi, alongside other senior party figures.
Party sources said the reconstitution followed a fresh review of zoning considerations and strategic party interests ahead of the 2026 national convention.
The APC noted that the adjustments are contained in the revised composition of the National Convention Central Coordination Committee released on Friday.
