Oke flags off 2026 free JAMB forms for youths in Oriade/Obokun

…targets increased access to tertiary education

On Thursday, the Member of the House of Representatives representing Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwole Oke, announced the commencement of the 2026 Annual Free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Forms Initiative for eligible youths across the constituency.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Media and Public Communication Unit of the Hon. Wole Oke Constituency Office, noting that the initiative remains a key component of the lawmaker’s long-standing commitment to human capital development, youth empowerment and the promotion of equal access to education.

According to the statement, the free JAMB forms scheme is an age-long educational intervention designed to support qualified candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions by easing the financial burden associated with the JAMB registration process.

It added that the programme has, over the years, benefitted hundreds of students across Oriade and Obokun local government areas, thereby expanding opportunities for youths and strengthening the foundation for academic advancement within the constituency.

The statement explained that prospective beneficiaries must possess valid evidence of the prescribed O’Level qualifications, in line with the requirements of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

To ensure effective implementation and wide participation, all aides and constituency representatives across the 22 wards have been directed to work closely with their respective ward chairmen and relevant community stakeholders to facilitate coordination, grassroots sensitisation and the dissemination of accurate information.

The Constituency Office further disclosed that details regarding approved centres for the generation of JAMB profile numbers, as well as registration procedures, would be communicated in due course through officially recognised channels.

Members of the public were, however, cautioned to rely solely on verified information issued by the Constituency Office and its authorised representatives, warning that the initiative is free and does not attract any form of payment.

Hon. Oke, who has consistently prioritised education as a critical tool for development, has continued to roll out educational support programmes aimed at reducing barriers to learning and empowering young people within Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency.

The lawmaker reiterated his commitment to policies and interventions that would enhance access to quality education and secure a better future for the youths of the constituency.
