Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Dr Paul Enenche, has declared that those behind banditry, terrorism, and other violent crimes in Nigeria will soon face divine retribution.
The outspoken cleric, who led his congregation in a fervent prayer session for the nation on Sunday, issued fiery warnings to criminal elements, their sponsors, and sympathizers, saying their days of terror were numbered.
“Every agent of the devil in Nigeria, agent of bloodshed — whether they call themselves terrorists, kidnappers, bandits, evil herdsmen, or jihadists — your time is up,” Enenche thundered.
He said Nigeria’s soil, which has “drunk the blood of innocent citizens,” would in due course “drink the blood of the wicked and swallow them up.”
According to the cleric, “Importers of terrorists, sponsors, collaborators, and sympathizers of evil — get ready, your season of judgment has come. The land of Nigeria will swallow you, and we shall have a nation of freedom, where people can live and serve the God they choose.”
He vowed that no “agent of darkness” would escape divine judgment, no matter their status.
“There will be no hiding place for any devil, no matter how high or how low,” he declared.
Enenche’s outburst comes amid renewed global debates over alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
In recent weeks, some United States lawmakers and religious rights advocates have accused Islamic extremists of carrying out systematic attacks on Christians across the country — a claim amplified by former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Trump, who recently designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern,” warned that the United States could take military action if the Federal Government fails to halt the alleged killings.
The allegations have, however, drawn strong reactions from Nigerian authorities and religious bodies. While some Christian leaders insist the claims reflect Nigeria’s harsh realities, government supporters have dismissed them as exaggerated and politically motivated.
