Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of ten Special Advisers into key portfolios across the state.
A statement on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Ikhilor, said the appointments take effect from October 27.
The new appointees include three women who were assigned to Women Mobilisation roles in the Central, North and South districts of the state.
Those appointed are:
Orobosa Omo-Ojo — General Manager, Bendel Newspaper Corporation
John Inegbedion — Special Adviser on Tax Reforms
Johnson Adamu — Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation
Shuaibu Elamah — Special Adviser on Law Reforms
Aminu Imafidor — Special Adviser on Livestock, Aquaculture and Agro-Processing
Omorede O.E. Osifo — Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation
Esther O. Eghaghe — Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation (Edo Central)
Vera Omonkhafe Sadoh — Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation (Edo North)
Itohan Osahon — Special Adviser on Women Mobilisation (Edo South)
Anslem Adima — Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
Ikhilor said the move is part of the governor’s effort to deepen governance, strengthen service delivery and widen political inclusion across the state.
