Anambra guber: LP’s Moghalu boasts ‘we are fully prepared’

Labour Party candidate for the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, George Moghalu, says his party is going into the polls with confidence and complete readiness.

Moghalu, who featured on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Friday ,said the LP enjoys wide acceptance in the state and has been engaging voters with its message.

“We are a very popular party and I am a popular person in Anambra State,” he said.
“We are campaigning, reaching out, selling ourselves and our programme to Anambra people. I can assure you comfortably that we are ready for the elections. Whatever we are expected to do, we are going to do.”

He added that the campaign team would continue its mobilisation drive until midnight of November 6 — the official deadline for campaigns.

The Labour Party is one of the major parties in the race to succeed Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
