Former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Abdulganiyu Oseni, has passed away, sources confirmed on Tuesday.
Oseni, who represented Irepo/Olorunsogo State Constituency in the 8th Assembly, served during the administration of the immediate past governor, the late Abiola Ajimobi. He was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A close family source, who preferred anonymity, told journalists that the late lawmaker had been battling an illness for some time. Details surrounding his death remain limited as of the time of reporting.
Oseni’s contributions to his constituency and the state legislature are remembered fondly by colleagues and constituents alike.
