Osun State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dr. Charles Idowu Omidiji, has aligned with the position of the party’s National Secretary and former Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed Nigerians.
Aregbesola had, at the unveiling of the Kwara State ADC Secretariat at the weekend, accused the APC of subjecting citizens to severe hardship through poor economic management and weak governance.
Reacting in Osogbo on Monday, Omidiji said the current administration had become disconnected from the reality of the people, adding that rising cost of living, worsening insecurity and business collapse were proofs of leadership failure.
He said the ADC offered a clear alternative anchored on transparency, justice and people-driven governance, noting that under Senator David Mark as National Chairman and Aregbesola as National Secretary, the party was repositioned for a national rescue mission.
Omidiji urged Nigerians to take advantage of the 2027 elections to “end misrule”, insisting that the APC had lost the moral right to continue in power after failing to deliver on its promises.
